Interesting - Kagan, one of the most vocal critics of the increased use of the shadow docket, says she thinks it's gotten much better in the past year. Says the Court has become better at writing more on emergency decisions

Senators being somewhat more direct. Reed read off a list of Trump insults of the justices, called them "dangerous." Husted, however, now scolding the justices for strong language in judicial decisions as an inflammatory element

“Theme of the unreal” on the podcast, indeed. Incidentally, I’ve observed what you did about Sen. Collins. I don’t know her medical history, but she looks about ten years older than she is. For a woman in her 70s that’s not great.
