i should look into buying a separate pen they probably sell them

Wacom pens do be a pain sometimes, but their drivers also suck ass as well. Their unoptimized crap caused my PC to crash several times over a few months back .w.

no yeah it sucks so much i went straight to that without thinking about it lol, im used to cursors that flicker, stop working for no reason and need a restart or break if you dare unplug the tablet a slightest bit

If it helps any, I myself swapped from their official drivers to an open source alternative called "OpenTabletDriver". Seems to have an extensive list of support for a lot of different tablets and it includes a ton of features, plugins, and other things that help a ton. Would highly recommend it ^^

I WAS TRYING TO GET THAT WORKING it got recommended to me the second it started dying yesterday, but i just couldnt get wacom to stop auto installing its drivers ontop

I ran into that same problem. You gotta do a full wipe of all Wacom related stuff on your PC, uninstalling the main drivers isn't enough because it still leaves some things left over. Check your program files, your appdata folder, any place that has anything even remotely related to Wacom

I like wacom... but I hate the pen it uses. The low quality bamboo tablet I had as a teen had a more useful pen than my current, hella expensive wacom.

i havent tried enough to get a preference cause to me they all just look like a stick with buttons

My preference is: must have a button my thumb can press. Can remap a button to ctrl-z button on thumb does not get in my way and be easily pressed. -- that's pretty much it
