Those horses weren't wild! Every one of them had a name, and a rich backstory and a favorite type of grass.

Robert Jordan: *writes 7 pages to introduce character* Me: “Ah, so I’ll see more of this character in the future.” RJ: “No, this is the first and last time you’ll ever see him.” Me: “But he’s pivotal, I’m sure.” RJ: “No, he’s just brings a box to one of the characters. Moving on.”
