Good ole US of A putting our thumb on whatever scale we can. So embarrassed of my country. I’m a lifelong soccer player and fan and cannot bring myself to watch any associated games. Painful too bc WC season always meant midday matches in seminar rooms and unusual social bonding amongst academics :/
Rich BurroughsThis is terrible, and I think it’s likely far from the worst thing that will happen in this World Cup. I think it clearly puts the team at a competitive disadvantage, especially for the match they have in Seattle. FIFA should have moved their matches to Mexico.
