I'm calling it now: Vingegaard retires at the end of the season after failing to make the TdF podium. It'll be sad to see him go, as I think he's net very good for the sport.

Remco Evenepoel, Paul Seixas, Florian Lipowitz, Juan Ayuso and Mattias Skjelmose all finished ahead of Jonas Vingegaard today. It's a reactive note, but that second place is looking less stable.

I thought the same thing. He's got nothing left to achieve except the seemingly impossible. Also plausible that Pogacar completes his set with this year's Vuelta and dedicates the rest of his career to chasing 5 monuments in a season. Grand Tours could be about to get a lot less predictable...
