Friends, Americans, countrymen, lend me your ears. Tariff wars have been tried before. The last one included Congress. It was the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930. A law to stimulate business but was the death knell to the Great Depression. We must stop this madness that plagues our nation.
