AB - this is how we treat our seniors! Pt in late 60s, confused/delirious from an infection. Needs admission. INT med says admit to Fam Med bed, except no beds in hosp. Pt waiting >48hrs in a recliner CHAIR in the ED for transfer - no dignity, privacy, very little care. 1/2

This is the NEW NORM. Waiting DAYS in a chair for transfer to another hospital WHEN A BED opens up. We know this adds to MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY (makes them sicker and kills some seniors). Smith's plan to privatize won't help your parents/grandparents when they are sick! 2/2

AI doesn't illustrate reality, while I'm sure this is a real problem fake images don't help. You show this to someone less well meaning and you just get "Well that's not a real image" (and then of course it helps build datacentre demand every time someone does a prompt, so unhelpful all around)

that's a doctor posting and yes this is a real problem in Alberta Smith has broken the canada Health Act if you have $$ you can have any test you want no requisition from a dr needed so the sick, and old go to ERs for infection and people have died waiting for care google it.
