The ladder is there for everyone to climb. There's thousands of help out there for free. If they want me to help, choose better questions instead of getting unreasonable like you are right now.

OK buddy idk how you even got here. We are clearly in different environments and dealing with different strata of people. Your advice is better with different crowds. I'm outlining my boundaries with reasonable suggestions. You can moral grandstand all you want.

Nah I'm good. You don't seem a bad guy so I'll be succinct here. I'll always help but I'll need a better question than "how do I get good at art". There's free resources online to give you better directions. Its frustrating to deal with people who want you to personally curate a path for them.

No one wants that from you. Most people don’t know what they don’t know - which makes it impossible for them to ask a pointed question. It takes like 5 seconds to point them towards a useful resource and go on about your day. And as a bonus, you don’t get a reputation for being a dick.

I'm alright where I am. You're pretty annoyed by my boundaries though. It's already sitting low by just asking you to do some simple reading you get from 1 search of "basics of art".

I usually tell people to start with learning anatomy. You can get full courses for like $20 bucks on Udemy.com, or you can find tutorials on you tube. 23 words to not be a dick. But what do I know? I’ve only been doing this professionally for 23 years. But you do you. Lol. Good luck.
