This relentlessly hot summer feels apocalyptic somehow. Evidence of accelerating climate change is everywhere, parts of Europe on fire, agriculture massively affected. Its all moving too quickly for successful adaptation, and in the background there is the creep of fascism I struggle to be hopeful
