Khalil has sued the government and other groups such as the Heritage Foundation, Canary Mission, and Betar, under the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, which was passed to stop efforts by vigilante groups like the KKK to coordinate with the government to strip individuals of their constitutional rights.
