when the younger, healthier DH options slipped through his fingers during the offseason he shoulda just brought Cutch back. The pirates have always been a vibes team not a stats team, at least if Cutch stunk here they could been like hey bud let’s just plan the retirement party 🥲
I mean, if we're going to try to drag one past-his-prime, well-over-30 guy across the postseason finish line, it should at least be the guy that the whole fan base emotionally bonded with over his first 8 years in MLB.
