madeline odent28 июл., 13:55I have never posted about this before because I didn’t want someone to see it and think dad didn’t care about them, he does! He loves people! He just meets a thousand a month. but also he’s retired now so I think i can spill his secrets
madeline odent28 июл., 13:58I can’t really teach this over the internet, there’s a whole lot of skill and nuance to it, but a good thing to start with is “hi, how are you getting on?” Said with a very, very slight hint of concern. Just a whisper of it. And then listen to the reply and go from there
madeline odent28 июл., 13:59What you’re doing is taking a detail from each reply and expanding on it, asking about it, and people love to talk about themselves so after three or four rounds you should have enough to place them
Sineady-weady28 июл., 15:15'How are you getting on' wouldnt work in Ireland cause its used as one of those kind of rhetorical greetings that nobody actually wants an answer to -'how ye getting on?' 'Ah sure you know yourself'!
