The wording is most accurate when we say "since Trump may not run ..." according to the USS Constitution that bars a 3rd presidential term (ever after FDR).

Csdr - if a tree falls in the woods & no one hears it, did it make a sound. Ok, not the same thing. How about, if a corrupt orange faced leader violates the constitution, and no one enforces the prohibition against the unconstitutional action, can a president run for a 3rd time?

Some MAGA factions prefer Israel's will over our own voters' demands to avoid war, are fine with the war crimes that US and Israel committed, whereas the MAGA majority (as best as one can think this through) resist foreign wars and want the Epstein files out - and out now.
