dude. microsoft will do this no matter what we do. they have the money to do that. this is a problem so above and beyond the scope of what anyone is talking about with playstation or xbox specifically that bringing it up as if it's relevant just comes off as performative and obnoxious.

we need to stop treating companies like individual entities with thoughts and emotions. these are faceless, unfeeling collectives that exist to make a number go up. if the number goes up, they will keep doing the thing until it doesn't. they're closer to machines than people.

i don’t think any of us are doing that? if you can do anything to make the number go up even a little less it’s a good thing if you do that

we are not capable of making a difference here. xbox already makes the *least* amount of their money. OP butted into an article about video games (something we can move the needle on, even if the idea in the article kinda sucks) talking about mass genocide as if they're on the same level and we-

have the same amount of power to change it. we do not. microsoft is getting the funding from this from other big companies buying azure or w/e, and the major world govts who want this genocide to happen. none of that is xbox money. again, it just comes off as incredibly performative
