I think the 3DS remakes did a good job at visually translating the N64 originals in a way that fit that hardware and felt like the memories of the old games. This new remake is less an upscaled remake and more a reimagining that has strayed from its source material

But in the end, I'm still going to give Nintendo my money and play it because that's what I do with Zelda games, even if they're Zelda games I don't like. I'm just gonna grumble about it the whole time, and probably draw fan art for the N64 version to cope
