The Fermi Paradox: given the age and size of the universe, intelligent life should be everywhere. It isn't (that we can detect). We look at the Great Filter, Rare Earth, Dark Forest, and Zoo hypotheses - plus a 2024 study putting the odds of intelligent life as low as 0.003%.
