Why are you blaming this on "Democratic politics"? Platner is a leftist, he's YOUR guy. Traditional Democratic politics is to immediately oust politicians for the slightest whiff of creepiness, like Al Franken. The entire reason y'all liked Platner was because he wasn't a traditional Democrat!
