Curious what the North/South cultural divide is like in the UK I'll have to research it later, but if someone from the UK feels comfortable summarizing I'd also appreciate it

Stereotypically, north is working class, rough but warm. Think Sean Bean. South is posh, polite but reserved. Think Benedict Cumberbatch. The stereotypes come from the way Britain's been shaped by its university, finance, mining, and shipping industries, but obviously they're reductive.
