Been reading Federalist Papers & writing of Adams, Jefferson, Washington. Hamilton, Madison & Jay assumed leaders will at some point try to seize more power & self deal, they stressed other 2 branches MUST keep other in check. Funny how so called originalists and patriots are ignoring all of that.
