Shit happens in food processing plants, but every idiot knows not to bring glass in the processing area. A lot of plants make you take off your wedding rings.
Maple Leaf Foods, Inc., is recalling approximately 12,036 pounds of not ready-to-eat (NRTE) smoked bacon product that was imported from Canada without the benefit of import reinspection.
This sounds unlikely to cause harm unless the Canadians are trying to get back at us. 😶
