Lot of valid points, but if someone doesn’t know how something works, no statement can be made, literally nothing. But I spotted the phrase that reads so much like ai, all these phrases “not only because x, but also because y” (“not x, but y” scheme), I’m going to explode if I see another one…

This is such a classic sentence pattern that I'm surprised it can get twisted so easily. The chatbot one that gets me is, "It's not just X, it's Y!" That one comes off like cheap marketing text to me. The "not only...but also..." just sounds like a general parallel construction.

it's so classic my PhD supervisor in circa 2010 was making me do it right as I think I wrote once "not only, but" and forgot the "also" 🫠
