I had an ‘85 CB 125 (first bike) then a ‘77 KZ 650 in college. Sold the 125 for the 650 & then sold the 650 for rent at a not so good time in my life. I’d love to have a small moped to cruise around my neighborhood, but I sadly know I shouldn’t own another motorcycle. Too much to lose now. 😭😭😭

This is what I really want now (besides an old Cushman, which I can’t afford 😭), a solid Honda Elite 80 (or 125) scooter. Often see a few for sale in the $750-1,000 range. Solid Honda quality & I get my 2 wheel fix. Had a Coleman minibike for a while. Loved it, but wanna take Dara on rides. ❤️

It’s in the works actually! Got the kayak first, but the scooter WILL happen before the end of the year. Somethin’ about being 49 & sayin’ fuck it! I won’t be young forever! 😂

i've never owned one but i've ridden dirt bikes and such before. it's so dangerous out there on these roads but man it's such a good feeling to ride

Yeah, it’s (distracted) drivers that scare me the most. I could see ridin’ around my neighborhood & maybe to 7-11 or Walmart (both close & don’t require getting on main roads).

Yamaha xv750 Virago. Nice bike. Never had an issue. Except for the lady that pulled out in front me. I took a course thankfully that taught me how to control slide. I quickly down shifted, then locked up the back brake, slid for 20’ and stopped within inches of her. Closest I’ve been to death.
