this points to a bigger problem with how amnesty conducted their affairs throughout this entire thing. if the report as written was potentially sloppy enough to be considered libelous in britain, they should have had legal go over it with a fine-toothed comb before putting it out
ergopraxisAmnesty's capitulation is unacceptable, because a human rights NGO is not simply a discount think tank (viz. a double discounted research university). It's part of its job description to specifically leverage its resources to stand its ground against actual and threatened SLAPPs from bad actors!
