Yes. From a public health standpoint, helping masses get macronutrients is sane. Ancient Rome gave citizens bread. From a fiscal policy standpoint, it's akin to SNAP. A subsidy on food to take pressure off budgets. Is it a major economic fix? No. But it's mostly harmless & moderately helpful.
