IDK if this is what this person means, but it could be an interesting concept to have a social media platform that is only open for a few hours a day. Like how Wordle went viral by restricting players to one game a day, meaning the rest of the day was spent anticipating and talking about it.

A time-of-day restriction is definitely a thing that can be implemented by all of these apps and services.

The proposal is that 16-17 year olds in the UK can have access to social media, but that access is revoked every night after 8:30pm. I do not believe it is technically feasible to do this.

To be clear I'm against the bans, but I don't understand why that would be any more or less feasible than any other age-based ban? It's just an age-based ban that gets turned off and on a couple times a day? Do you mean like with dealing with time zones? Could you explain?
