I say this precisely because I’ve built up a decent following on various social media platforms: the quality of your followers is what matters most, so it’s frustrating when people brag about their numbers.
After all, when you sell merchandise, how many of them will actually pay you? What percentage of your followers actually watch your streams? How many of them show up to your events? There are so many things that can’t be measured by follower count alone.
