By the way, I generally don’t want to compete. There are so many people out there who are way more interesting and talented than I am, so why go out of my way to compete? There’s no way I could win, and I don’t need to win anyway.

I stopped competing in anything a long time ago, although that may have come from me starting my professional career. I feel like far too many people treat anything competitive as a career even if it's something that should just be for fun.
