Since I'm a workaholic and my job works very differently than most people, working in an office floor with lots of other people leads me to more viscerally understand how out-of-sync I am with everyone else. I find myself regularly wondering "is it a holiday? why is no one in the office?"

Also, for some of us, why am I a workaholic and not getting any income for it? Also, why do other people always wake up to an alarm clock?

retroactively I've been a workaholic for 18 years, I just only started really getting paid 6 years ago.

I am glad that happened albeit retroactively. 🫶🙏 You earned it, in spades. (I would pay-subscribe to your ℕ𝕠𝕥𝕖𝕤 if I had any spare government scorepoints.)

When 9-5 seems like a barrier. When I need to contact someone at 1 am Saturday morning and wonder why they aren’t around.

It doesn’t help when you arise “later.” I used to have the discipline to wake up at 4 AM and make a big breakfast .
