I saw a peregrine dueling with a kite once, it didn’t look like territorial mobbing but pure pissiness. The kite was hovering on a cliff thermal eyeing prey, the peregrine 200ft above doing same. Tucks, dives, at the last moment the kite jukes 2ft over and peregrine bombs past & almost craters.
