Delving into the depths of the MIDI mines and uncovering horrors lurking within. I've been working on this weird little MIDI loop sequencer for a while now and it's finally starting to take shape. Here i was pushing it to it's limits and testing out the new filter cutoff and resonance controls.

Oh my god these sounds are insaaaaaane. i love these so much and they're stimulating that part of my brain that wants to make another short horror game.......... Is this a tool you plan to use in anything coming up?

Adding in the filter controls really opened up the sound design potential. Believe it or not, this is going to be part of the fish thing I've been posting about!

The sequencer is made up of a hierarchy of Loop Discs, Rotary Discs, and Control Discs. The loop disc is the main container and controls scale, BPM, etc

Multiple Rotary Discs can be activated in a Loop, each assigned to a midi track. Rotary discs contain the note data and FX sends. The speed value acts as a ratio of the BPM. Each Rotary Disc can have multiple control discs, which control MIDI CCs. Their speed value is a ratio of the parent rotary.
