Seeing to it those who attempted (& are now succeeding in so doing) to destroy democracy were held accountable under the law would’ve been the best way to honor those who’ve sacrificed their lives defending democracy. Failing to understand this was a failing of the highest order. Sorry to say. mho
The American people gave him the power to do this and trusted he would. Instead he found an AG who would satisfy his desire to move forward and “not waste time looking back”. An arrogance or ignorance beyond comprehension to me. But what to I know. 🥴
I agree that life was less stressful and we had “the perception” that the Govn’t wasn’t nearly as adversarial.
But Trump’s presidency should have made us all aware of the significant number of flaws in our system of checks and balances, laws, and SC decisions that protect and enable Gov corruption.
I blame Reality TV
For rotting the brain of so many Americans into thinking loud, obnoxious morons were deserving of leadership
and that they must surely be captains of industry. Because otherwise, why would they have been picked for a TeeVee show.

We used to revere our elders and show respect I will never understand how this country turned on Biden and looked at Trump and decided I’ll have another. 🤦🏾♂️ It will never make sense. Country has lost its way.
Americans wanted the sadistic corrupt blowhard though. The people experienced a conventional but honorable and genuine president and said no thank you, we want the reality TV guy who does ethnic cleansing.
Ultimately the people are to blame.
