Fire season in BC has been ongoing for decades, exacerbated by pine beetle epidemic, left hundreds of thousands of hectares of dead trees, tinder for infernos. That should have been wake-up call: climate is changing, humans have obligation to make difference, stop/slow emissions, we didn’t: fail.
