Yes, it feels like my repeat was 9pm BBC 2 and then straight to bed. In its potential defence, I have discovered that things obviously satirising the prevailing attitudes of the 90s are now broadcast with "language of its time" warnings. So perhaps RP felt more satirical on first broadcast?
