Before gps and smartphones I made note cards for motorcycle trips. North 33. Right on 198 East. Exit 67 to Willow North. Etc. I can't turn that part of my brain off and I am also the type of sicko that runs gps maps in 'north up' instead of 'route up' orientation unless off-road.
