I’ve been working on an Exaclidraw fork for about a week that syncs your drawings to your Atmosphere account as well as uses Iroh for realtime encrypted end to end collaborative work. I feel like it’s at a stage where I can share it. Meet lexidraw.app!

Excalidraw has been a huge help with explaining The Atmosphere and I really wanted to bring the two together. This would not be possible without their amazing open source work and I can’t recommend enough to donate to them if this version is helpful to you. I know I have a bit and hope to again!

Tried it out, so easy and fun! Totally unsolicited notes: - after login, dump you directly into drawing mode? - you could seed it with some pictures or a fun color or a gently disappearing dad joke incorporating the word "draw"

- rainbow mode pencil by default? that could be your lil laignappe - unique links/tokens for each drawing, easier to ref & share - if @leaflet.pub is for artists... 🤝

Thank you! I haven’t done much beyond adding in a remote saving layer and new sharing layer, but I’m excited to play around with some stuff to make it a bit different from Excalidraw

It’s so cool. That was def a nerd snipe when I started digging in wanting to fork to add saving to the PDS. Excalidraw does it via websockets and a shared secret for privacy. But I didn’t want to run a server just for that and realized I knew the perfect tool to replace the web socket layer.

Thank you! It’s not iroh over atp, just sharing those sharing sessions manually. But I am hoping to run some kind of broker service that shares them with different dids. Still noodling on it userinput.app#/d/did:plc:r...

Thank you! Was getting lexicon.garden as auto complete when I would go to it to test out and kept wondering if you were going to see the lexicon go by haha. Probably so many now it’s hard to keep up with

Thank you! I did see there’s some support for mermaid to Excalidraw under more tools if that unlocks anything. They have a package to convert them in their repo
