I agree. I’m Gen X, it’s part of my DNA. A Boomer I know watches it recently after “getting tired of everyone telling me how good it is” and her review was, “it’s weird.”

What a boring life she must have existed in. Wasted time. Reminds me of a WW I met once from the midwest who, at age 44, had never eaten a taco or seen the ocean, any ocean, in person.
She’s well traveled and has led an interesting life in many ways, but in fairness, she’s never been into fairy tales or fantasy or anything (at least, as far as I know). Me? That stuff is my jam, lol. To each their own, I suppose. But I will totally judge her taste in movies 😂
