I believe that Mario Kart World is going to have some sort of recruitment system. i.e. Go to Moo Moo Meadows to get cow, or Peach Beach and Cataquack joins up. Fishbones, Penguin, Pianta, Swoop, Pokey, Goomba, Snowman, etc. What do all these characters have in common? They're ALL COURSE OBSTACLES
