Famed for his film scores including Zorba the Greek and the Costa-Gavras film Z, Mikis Theodorakis #botd is credited with over 1,000 works, including operas, symphonies and many songs. He was imprisoned and eventually exiled from Greece during the military dictatorship 1967-1974.
