Wasn’t his father the leader of the band ? Honestly, he was pretty pathetic. Although, the run for the roses ? Pretty darn good.

Did you paint it darker, darker? Sorry for the obscure DF song reference. Yes, I am that old.

I did not paint it darker, darker, Mr. Lebowski, though I am about that old, too. The problem was that Mr. Fogelberg had had some artist paint in a shade of pale tan an Irish-style harp amidships on the topsides, so we had to mask around that to repaint them in the same shade of kelly green.

The boat’s name was “Minstrel,” out of Deer Isle, Maine.

Coincidental. My dad was stationed at the naval air station in Brunswick & Dow AFB in Bangor. We were only in Maine a year or so before my dad went overseas to Formosa (the other front in the Korean War). Married a woman born and raised in Manchester, so I've visited a few times as an adult.
