I love this metaphor of the rabbit and the snake. Hollywood loves making Serious Films About Rabbits, just as long as a snake is the protagonist
Rebecca SolnitEver since I sat through Phantom Stitch, I've thought that so many movies are about the wrong person, but Hollywood male directors think any man with power is inherently interesting and they're wrong. Of course the rabbit has to watch the snake but the snake can still be boring.
