Good to be back from our important research trip exploring the balls of other libraries.

Pomodoro! We apparently didn’t merit a ball here in Charlotte, only a disk! And it’s a couple of blocks away from the library.

I used to study at Trinity College Dublin, I loved passing by this on a daily basis. Thanks for posting.

You say 'exploring'; do you not mean 'examining'?

Important work.

Trinity!

That one's a bit scary looking. Your big balls look much more cosy.

That’s a beautiful sculpture.

In a time of intellectual crisis, libraries need to have some balls.

Credit Arnaldo Pomodoro's 'Sfera con Sfera'. We found another of his near the sea front in Pesaro.

Roboball?

Value the library balls of all sizes, textures and shine wherever they are.

Hope you had fun in Dublin. Did you know that's informally, and lovingly, called the half-eaten malteaser?

Dublin, I think. Unless there's more than one. Must be getting on for 20 years since I saw it.

Back in the 90s we called it “the golden gooly”. 🙂
