As much as I really enjoyed the new Spider-man movie, it really bothers me that the film treats the police surveillance state as an acceptable tool for Peter to use. Even the cop is like, "That sounds illegal AF, so I didn't hear that." Cop-aganda in superhero films isn't new but still...
