On top of everything, he is, as always, wrong about poverty, but what do you expect from someone who has the money to sink into multiple losing campaigns

I hadn't actually thought about it until I read this, but I'm in the same boat. I'm not defensive on Pratchett's behalf any more than I'd have felt defensive of da Vinci if he said the Mona Lisa was a shitty painting. It just makes me sad for him. 😭
