28 Years Later came out in June 2025, at a time when the "Patriots" movement had gotten totally out of pocket across England I was spending every weekend fighting fascists outside hotels. The film's version of "England" is imbued with a sense of threat and violence that felt perfectly timed. 1/
Bela Lugosi's Dad 🏳️⚧️ 🇵🇸The Bone Temple is good but a little uneven in tone (although Ralph Fiennes was clearly having the time of his life as Old Nick). I've seen 28 Years Later threes times though it had bawling like a child every time.
