I'd throw Wolverine in there too. Overall, the trinity insofar as Marvel is concerned back in the day it was Hulk, Wolverine, and Spider-Man.

Yup. My gateway to Marvel was X-Men Evolution and the Singer films which is why even if I like Spider-Man, that's not where I stand strongest.
