This week we kicked off fieldwork for RECOSEX project in beautiful Åfjord, Norway. We plan to combine multi-omics information with long-term ecological data from house sparrows to understand causes and consequences of recombination patterns in both sexes. We also learned that sparrows love cows ❤️
