Yeah he's bad, but this feels like punk erasure.

No, it's the singer in Rush. Eddie Vedder just makes me want to turn off the radio. The guy in Rush makes me want to rip my ears off.

As bad as Geddy Lee is, I can never forgive Vedder for his atrocious cover of Save it for Later by The English Beat.

The key difference here is that geddy Lee doesn’t think he’s a great singer

As to the quoted sheet, early New Order is great but everything after Brotherhood is hot garbage.

Weird Al did a pretty great song about him though so it's a wash
