#Ootd is this INCREDIBLE 1951 Dior Douze Douzièmes (twelve twelfths) dress. @romtoronto.bsky.social has thankfully provided a lot of information about this dress. It was made in the atelier flou by Marthe, the textile by Jean Page, and embroidery by Maison Rébé. A handwritten label says

"Eaton pour[?] Eaton Douze Douzième", meaning it was probably owned by Signy Eaton, the founding member of Art Gallery of Toronto and Canadian philanthropist. It is a silk embroidered with a cotton cord wrapped in synthetic fibre and Swarovski crystals. You can see the
