For certain/many jobs, yes, but not to serve in OUR Government in leadership positions!

We have a convicted felon in the oval office. Many incarcerated people have been convicted and have harsh sentences, because they don't have the luxury of unlimited resources for a slew of defense lawyers. In this country if you have money, connections and resources, you are above the law.

That shouldn't be the case - the basic ideal of OUR Country is that every person is held equally responsible to obey the law. No one should be treated more leniently, just because they have more money than the next guy/gal! I believe that our justice system has to be color, sex and economy blind!
