After a week at my aunt’s, eating daily eggs from her chickens, I went home and didn’t buy eggs for like six months. She traded eggs for other items w/ neighbors (& I think got a discount on horse care in exchange for OMG SO MANY EGGS), but she had 14 chickens. She lived alone.
